Shipping and Returns

We offer shipping through all major U.S. Couriers, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Depending on your preference, all options are available at checkout with an estimated cost and delivery date. Most order made before 12:00 PM Eastern will be shipped out same day, unless further attention is required; splitting, strap cutting, etc. 

Need to return something within 30 days of your purchase?  First, make sure it's unused/unopened and in the same shape in which we sent it to you (custom split leather panels are not eligible for return).  Then, drop us a line through our Contact page or at info@districtleathersupply.com and we'll make arrangements for the return and refund or exchange.  

We ship to every country served by USPS, UPS, or DHL and we offer multiple rates from each of those carriers.  Rates for various shipping options are automatically calculated during checkout.  

Unfortunately, high international shipping costs prevent us from being able to offer free returns for unused items.  However, we'll gladly provide a refund for items returned to us received within 45 days from the original date of purchase.  Shipping costs for exchanged items are the responsibility of the buyer unless the exchange is the result of a shipping error on behalf of DLS.

District Leather Supply is a small, lean operation focused on providing the world's best leathercraft supplies and accompanying customer service.  We are constantly working to improve and expand our product offering (e.g. we now have close to 100 different leathers in stock), and that sometimes leads to longer order fill times as we recalibrate our operation.  

Our leather straps and panels are all cut and split in-house and often per order.  At the moment, we are also producing all 60m thread spools to-order.  Therefore, if your order contains split leather or 60m thread spools, it's possible that it may take a few days before your order is packed and shipped out. 

Please know that we have made and continue to make investments that will allow us to fill orders faster and more accurately.  We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to grow to serve you better.

• 60m thread spools: 1-3 days
• Leather 418/818/1224 panels (stocked thickness): 1-3 days
• Leather 418/818/1224 panels (split to order): 3-5 days
